Yvonne Currie
Yvonne is a dear friend which we have known for more than 15 years. When we first met Yvonne, she was braiding tourists' hair on the beach of the Sheraton Hotel (now Jamaica Grande). There was no better braider then, and still is not. And back then, the movie '10' was recently released, and Bo Derek made hair braiding the 'thing to do' for most tourists.
These days, Yvonne is no longer braiding hair for income, and instead has a shop in the Ocho Rios Craft Market on Main Street. If planning on souvenir or T-Shirt shopping, stop by the Craft Market at shop #118. Ask for Yvonne and tell her Marty & Margot Bush sent you.
